Hi,

The Heart’s Family Zone is located in City Centre Gardens. Various performances, activities and workshops are taking place on both Saturday 12th and Sunday 13th Sep 11am-5pm, including: storytelling, face painting, archery, arts and craft workshops, re-enactments, puppet shows, magic shows, community sports games and much much more for children and families to enjoy in ArtsFest’s ‘secret garden’!

To plan your visit further, an ArtsFest programme can be picked up from ArtsFest venues, Tourist Information Centres and Libraries within the City Centre. Programmes will also be available over the festival weekend itself from information posts location within Centenary and Victoria Squares.

I'm trying to find out what is suitable to take my pre-school child too, but I'm finding the site a bit confusing. Is there a page that lists suitable events or activities so I can plan a visit?

Hi Kruse,

All artists have to apply to participate in ArtsFest. Hanging paintings in Centenary Square, is part of ArtsFests Art on the Railings and therefore artists wishing to participate would need to apply. For this years ArtsFest applications have now closed, so unfortunately it is now too late to apply. Applications for ArtsFest open early on in March and then close in April, with applications being taken through our website www.artsfest.org.uk.

Hope this helps.
Best Wishes,
Stephanie
